v2.6

New

Approval rules

Set what never needs a second look: refunds under a limit, queue changes, internal notes.

Rules live next to the approvals inbox. Write them in plain English, for example: refunds under $50 run without asking. Every rule shows how many actions it approved this week, and you can pause one with a switch.

Also in this release

Approvals from Slack now show the full proposed change, not just the summary.

v2.5

Improved

Run timeline shows cost per step

Each step in a run now shows tokens, tool calls and cost, so you can see where the money goes.

Open any run and the timeline shows the cost of every step. Sort workflows by cost in Analytics to find the expensive ones. Budgets per workspace are next.

v2.4

New

Salesforce integration

Route leads, enrich accounts and keep opportunity fields current, with approvals above your threshold.

Salesforce joins HubSpot as a native CRM integration. Connect with a dedicated integration user and access follows its permissions. Territory routing and enrichment templates are included.

v2.3

Fixed

Slack approvals no longer double-post

A retry bug could post the same approval twice in busy channels. Fixed, with a test that would have caught it.

If a Slack API call timed out after the message was delivered, the retry posted a duplicate. Deliveries are now idempotent per approval. Thanks to the three teams who reported it within the same hour.

v2.2

New

Scheduled triggers

Run a workflow every morning, every Monday or on any cron you like, in your workspace time zone.

Schedules join app triggers. Pick a preset or write a cron expression, and see the next five run times before you save. Weekly reports and daily digests were the most requested use.

v2.1

Improved

Faster workflow editor

The editor loads three times faster on large workflows and autosaves every change as a version.

We rewrote the canvas rendering and moved autosave to versions, so every edit is reversible from the history panel. Undo now works across sessions.

v2.0

New

Kestrel 2.0: the approvals inbox

One inbox for everything an agent wants to do that touches a customer or a dollar. Approve, edit or reject, and Kestrel learns from the edits.

This is the release that made Kestrel safe for real work. Anything an agent proposes that matches your rules waits in one place. Edits are recorded and used as examples for the next run of the same workflow.

Also

Runs, Analytics and Integrations moved into the new sidebar.

v1.9

Fixed

Gmail threads with attachments

Threads with large attachments could stall a run. Attachments are now read lazily and only when a step asks for them.

Runs that read email no longer wait on attachments they never use. PDF and spreadsheet attachments are parsed on demand when an instruction refers to them.
